Kenny Weldon, a retired Air Force colonel, stole the seat of Mayor Nancy Hunter in a landslide victory Saturday, and voters overwhelmingly approved a $24 million bond package Saturday that will improve Central and Chamberlin elementary campuses. Micah Moore reports from the Erath County Courthouse.
Will Nancy Hunter be reelected? Will we soon call Kenny Weldon our mayor? Will voters support a bond to renovate SISD campuses this time around? We will know the answers to those questions and more shortly after polls close at 7 pm Saturday night.
